ZZ Top new album released at the end of this year

ZZ Top on a new album "in full production", its long-awaited followup to 2003's Mescalero, which guitarist Billy Gibbons predicts will be released at the end of this year.

Texas trio has been recording on the Houston and his home studio in Los Angeles both, Gibbons told Billboard.com

According to Gibbons that bassist Dusty Hill and drummer Frank Beard are as for the sound "still just making a lot of loud noise. We still pose as interpreters of the blues. We can't invent it; it's already been invented. But we can do it our way."

Also according to Gibbons, ZZ Top tribute album is also on the way, alongside Foo Fighters, Nickelback and Kid Rock taking part.
